ABOUT LEWISBURG
Founded in 1947 by S.J. Neathawk and his wife, Gladys, S.J. Neathawk Lumber Company, Inc. is a trusted name in the lumber industry located on Route 219 North in Lewisburg, WV. S.J. Neathawk started the business by providing locally sourced lumber, which he expertly graded and surfaced for local builders and furniture makers. As the demand for a wider range of materials grew, he adeptly expanded offerings to meet the evolving needs of
the market.
In 2001, our company moved to a new facility on Route 219 North, featuring 125,000 square feet of space, including 20,000 square feet dedicated to hardware, tools, paint, windows and doors, kitchen and bath supplies, floor
coverings, and interior home items. Additionally, we have a designated area for contractor sales, a comprehensive showroom, and a lumber yard.
Our location serves the Greenbrier Valley and the surrounding area, including Greenbrier, Pocahontas, Monroe, Summers, Mercer, Nicholas, Fayette and Raleigh counties in southern West Virginia. Today, the company is proudly operated by Janet Neathawk, the daughter of S.J. and Gladys, alongside her
sons, Doug Goodwin and Sean Goodwin, and two grandchildren ensuring that the legacy of quality and service continues.

Welcome to our Covington, VA store, established in 2008 at 598 E. Madison Street. Proudly serving the Alleghany Highlands, we cater to customers across Alleghany, Bath, Highland, Rockbridge, Botetourt, Craig and surrounding counties.
